Mosaic Patterns

A special type of slip-stitch colorwork that Barbara Walker made popular. These are different from regular slip-stitch colorwork in the same way that eyelet patterns are different from lace patterns. Mosaic patterns are easy to recognize because of their complicated patterns and multiple dots that tend to separate the motifs.
